In this summer holiday, I obtained my driving license. When I obtained my license, I took a trip by car. My first trip by car is to go to Otaru.
Otaru is one of famous places in Hokkaido and glassware, a canal, sweets and sushi are special products of Otaru. Kitaichi, which is in Otaru, is well-known glassware shop in Hokkaido. Kiamichi’s glassware are very beautiful, so this glassware will be the best present when people go to Otaru.
Otaru canal is famous place in Hokkaido. Thanks to brick houses, Otaru canal becomes famous and rare place. When you stroll through Otaru, you can see a lot of sushi bar. Otaru’s sushi is delicious and freshness. Rutao is sweets shop and is also famous place in Hokkaido. For these things, Otaru becomes wonderful place and I enjoyed going to Otaru.

Tomakomai
When I was elementary school student, I lived in Tomakomai. There is good and important place for me. Tomakomai is in the southern part of Hokkaido and its special products are surf clam and blue berried honeysuckle.
Mitsuboshi which is in Tomakomai is famous sweetshop and Mitsuboshis typical cakes are fromage and Yoitomake. Yoitomake is made of egg and blue berried honeysuckle. It would makes you happy.
In winter, it becomes comparatively cold, but is doesn’t much snow. Because of this natural phenomenon, something are frozen, so people play skating, not skiing. If you go to Tomakomai, you should go in winter and try to eat surf clam and Yoitomake.

Hakodate
I was born in Hakodate and I think Hakodate is good place in Hokkaido. Hakodate has several historical and beautiful places.
Goryokaku is one of historical and beautiful places where is a pentagonal park now, but it was important castle in the past. Its style is Western, so it is very unique place in Japan. Goryokaku has many cherry trees and these trees make good place with Western style. Because of these reasons, there has a lot of tourists and becomes famous place.
Mt.Hakodate is also one of historical and beautiful places. Its night view is called night view of one million dollars. Mt.Hakodate is place where various electric waves are transmitted, so there is necessity place in Hakodate.
Hakodate has more historical and beautiful places for example, brick warehouse, religious house and morning market. I want you to visit Hakodate and understand what a good place is.
